DESCRIPTION:This year’s UUA General Assembly will include a special vote by delegates on new wording for our principles and purposes as stated in our UUA by-laws\, known as “Article II.” This vote finalizes a multi-year process that includes considerable work by the Article II Study Commission and the UUA Board of Trustees. Article II has not been updated since the 1980s. Congregations are encouraged to be in rigorous conversation about Article II.
