Kathleen McTigue will speak about her experiences with short-term hosting of small immigrant families who are desperate for privacy and support. The state’s 7\,500-person cap on sheltering homeless families and immigrants has left 750 people with small children struggling in large\, inhumane spaces and without privacy.
