Alta Hodges is a retired Physician Assistant, who spent many years working at a rural hospital in Haiti and then finished her career working at an urgent care clinic in Boston. She began attending FUUSN almost 15 years ago when she realized she wanted to be part of a religious community again, despite having lost her belief in God. She sings in the choir and is part of an Over-60s small group, as well as belonging to two book groups. She has also been involved in the Membership Committee and the Climate Action Task Force. She enjoys folk dancing, gardening, riding her e-bike, and hiking with her partner, John. Being assistant clerk is a new venture for her.
