DESCRIPTION:We invite you warmly to join us for the retransmission of Mahashivratri\, the largest and most significant among the sacred festivals of India. It is a night of great opportunity\, and we can take part in our own beautiful FUUSN! Last year\, 140 million people around the planet participated in this event live or online. \nWhat: There will be performances by some of the best contemporary artists of India: musicians\, dancers\, martial artists\, times for talks and meditations with Sadhguru\, and probably talks by some of the top Indian political leaders as well as the presence of farmers and more… \nWhen: Wednesday February 26 from 6 pm to Thursday February 27 at 6 am\nCome for a few hours or for the whole night as you wish. All are welcome including children with their parents (no childcare provided) \nWhere: at FUUSN Parish Hall\, 1326 Washington Street\, West Newton\, MA 02465 \nWhat to wear: comfortable clothing\, can be festive and colorful as you wish \nWhat to bring: there will be a vegetarian potluck\, so light vegetarian dishes or snacks are welcome\, fruits\, nuts\, vegetables\, salads with light dressing\, beverages\, water and juices (no alcohol) \nMahashivratri is one of the largest and most significant among the sacred festivals of India. The festival celebrates the Grace of Shiva\, who is considered the Adi Guru or the First Guru from whom the Yogic tradition originates. The planetary positions on this night\, which is also the darkest night of the year\, are such that there is a powerful natural upsurge of energy in the human system.
