SUMMARY:Racial Justice Book Club
DESCRIPTION:Groups at FUUSN will discuss the book Nice Racism\, by Robin DiAngelo\, during late January and early February 2024. The groups will meet three times\, to give us time to read four chapters before each meeting. One group will meet in-person at FUUSN on Sundays from 12-2pm (January 21st\, 28th\, and February 11th)\, and another will meet on Zoom on Tuesday evenings from 7-9pm (January 23rd and 30th\, and February 6th). Why not start the new year building “Beloved Community” with others in safe\, supportive\, facilitated conversation about ways that race and culture shape us in ways we may need support to better understand? Now’s the time to pick up a copy of the book by the author of the best-seller\, White Fragility\, so you will be ready to join one of these conversation groups.
