Accessibility

We welcome and affirm people of all abilities. We have taken the following steps to assure that no one is excluded for full participation in the life of our congregation*.  Please contact us if we can be of further assistance.

Mobility

Our sanctuary, parish hall, and restrooms on our main floor are fully accessible to those using wheelchairs or having limited mobility. We do have classrooms in the church basement and upstairs restrooms that can only be reached by stairs. Our main ground floor restrooms by the Parish Hall are accessible.

Sight

Large print hymnals are always available. Please ask any usher for assistance. If you would like an orientation tour of the campus during the week, email or call the church office at 617-527-3203 to make arrangements.

Hearing

In the sanctuary, we have portable headphone listening devices connected to our PA system for anyone who has trouble hearing during our Sunday services.

Special Needs Children and Adults

If you want your child to participate in the religious education program and feel that they may require special accommodation due to learning disabilities or behavioral issues, please contact the Director of Lifespan Religious Education in advance so the best possible arrangements can be made.

FUUSN welcomes adults who are neurodiverse or have special challenges.  Please reach out to a Senior Co-Minister.

Pastoral Care

We provide pastoral care to all members regardless of ability. If you have a hidden disability that you think it’s important for someone to know, please contact a lay minister or contact a co- minister to share your information in confidence.
