FUUSN Folks Help with Habitat for Humanity Build

On Saturday, September 28, 2024, several FUUSN members joined Habitat for Humanity to build a home. Emily Gelbert writes, “We had a perfect day on Saturday for the FUUSN Habitat For Humanity build. Everyone had interesting, challenging, necessary jobs to do and we worked beautifully with the other team there that day. This is the third year at this site and it’s exciting to see it coming together. Five families should be living there by early next year. Please join us on a new build next time.”

Two men wearing white hardhats, one wearing a gray short-sleeved athletic shirt and the other wearing a white T-shirt with a colorful graphic reading, "WE ARE FUUSN" sit on an unfinished balcony, their legs dangling through the beams behind an unfinished staircase being held by a third man in a blue hardhat and grey T-shirt. Eight adults in hard hats, some holding tools, stand in front of a partially constructed home. A woman with long wavy brown hair wearing glasses, a white hard hat, clear safety goggles, a navy blue sweatshirt that reads, "UMASS," and khaki pants holds a power drill and sits on a partially constructed balcony with her legs dangling between the wooden beams
