Our liberal faith is grounded in Justice, Equity, Transformation, Pluralism, Interdependence and Generosity with love at the center. Guided by ‘deeds not creeds’, we live out our faith in our many justice activities in order to create a better world for all. Join us in our Social Justice Speaker Series, Racial Justice Ministry, Action for Democracy, Climate Action Task Force and Rainbow Umbrella efforts and service projects!
Social Justice Council
Coordinates FUUSN’s efforts to put our faith into action through social justice work in our communities and wider world. Members are active in five different task forces and welcome people’s participation at any level in these as well as new projects. The Social Justice Council (SJC), which is comprised of leaders of all task forces, meets with the full committee as needed and these meetings are open to all in the congregation to observe. We nurture our spirits and put our faith into action through social justice work in our communities and the wider world. FUUSN members are proud of our many decades of social action, yet so much remains to be done. In the hope of making our efforts simple, transparent, and accessible, FUUSN’s many Social Justice groups are divided into Five Task Forces.
