If you’re new to FUUSN (First Unitarian Universalist Society in Newton) or TPC (Theodore Parker Church), have you heard about Ferry Beach yet? Here’s all you need to know: We all head up to the beach in Maine to spend a joyful and relaxing weekend together in early autumn. 

WHAT’S THE PLACE LIKE?

Ferry Beach is a small UU conference center on a seven-mile stretch of sandy beach in Maine. It’s a collection of mostly renovated wood frame buildings from the last century. The main building has a lobby with a fireplace, comfy chairs and a wrap-around porch that faces the ocean. There is a huge dining room with a nice, big porch where we share catered meals; another large indoor space for crafts, sing-a-longs and games; and a theater for dances and talent shows.

We offer both 2- and 3-night packages (the 2-night package includes 5 meals, the 3-night package has 7 meals).  The Ferry Beach chef provides vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options at every meal. Registration is direct to Ferry Beach, and we will a place to donate to the Scholarship Fund.
