Music Programs

FUUSN deeply appreciates our exceptional collection of singers, artists, and performers. The Music Program reinforces the themes of the worship services, and our musicians actively help to lead worship. The Sanctuary Choir members sing almost every Sunday; the FUUSN Band plays regularly; our organist and pianist, Linnea Bardarson, provides a variety of music for the Prelude and the Postlude each week. There is a group of chimers who play before and after the services in the Tower. The liturgical dance troupe, CreationDance, dances in several services each year. In addition, the Music Program presents special events every year:
Free outdoor tower chime concert, rain or shine. Bring your family, law chairs, blankets, and refreshments to enjoy the music outdoors. In case of rain, seating in the Narthex will be provided. 2026 dates TBD.
Twice each year, usually in November and March, our worship service is given over to music. Highlighting the incredible talents of our congregation’s singers, musicians, and dancers under the leadership of out Director of Music Ministry, Anne Watson Born, our service invite contemplation, elevate the spirit, and celebrate the richness and diversity of our musical traditions. Music Sunday for 2025-2026 will be held on November 16, 2025 and April 12, 2026. Folk Music Sunday will be held on May 17, 2026.
FUUSN’s Zoom Vespers services are offered on selected Friday evenings, beginning at 5:45 pm (pre-service music) with the service from 6:00 pm – 6:30 pm. Each service includes poetry and music centered around a theme. After the service participants have a chance to converse and connect with each other. Email Anne Watson Born for information. CreationDance

CreationDance is a graceful ambassador of FUUSN by bringing people to the FUUSN services, and by dancing in other churches and venues in New England and in France as well. They rehearse on Saturday afternoons.
